The Artist ...

 

He paints and sculpts the forms, the gestures & the lights of the beauty of 

the world.

 

                 Ydan watches the world with the eyes of a child dazzled by the light.

From Morocco to the (French) West Indies, lands of his youth, he observes the 

daily life under their blazing suns.  Everywhere, fascinated by the virility of men

at work or in their achievements, the maternal softness and power of femininity,

he carries out life on refined drawings.  To express the body when it transcends

the sublime, Ydan searches the precision of his point and strokes to the extreme.

 

 

                 A computing pen :  trained with new sciences and techniques, the artist

has naturally pushed his graphic studies to drawings on computer.  Precurser in

his domain, he can thus guide his drawings well beyond the crayons and brushes,

until he reaches the precision of the photograph in its artistic creativity.  A great

number of teenagers dream today of becoming graphic designers.  They will not 

find the heros of their video games on the mouldings of the exhibition halls but

the work of one of the inventors of computer graphics.

 

 

                The amateurs of lithographies will bend over, with great interest, on his

"digigraphics" - work of a very high quality, printed in limited quantities.

 

 

                 About the roots and spirit of his origins in the Landes, Ydan doesn't want

to forget anything.  In a loyalty from now on inalienable, the links, woven by the 

walls of our countries, have become the monuments offered to everyone.  In demand

everywhere, he takes off and runs around the world but always says "yes" to inter-

national tournaments.  From the Basque pelota have sprung a lot of movements,

bounds, flights, fugitive impressions of jumpindg players.....he will then come back

to pose the shapness of his regard on the best player of the world.
