Kim Huset

I entered this world in 1968 as a result of flower power. Creativity is in my genes since I come from an artistic background.

This inspired me to study graphic design, and I have worked as a graphic designer running my own bureau called “Kulturpiratene”.

Then I got an opportunity to work for Adobe systems in Norway and their web & digital solutions.

I used my skills to teach graphic design and web related subjects  at Næringsakademiet in Oslo.

All this time I have had my own projects up and running.

Now I am freelancing with a few customers in all kinds of different design projects

The focus of my projects besides design is photo and multi vision. I also enjoy working with sound creating music.

I feel that one of the assignments as a photographic artist is to capture a moment of time by using photography because

we are living in an endless source of urban galleries.

Small things such as scratches of rust or marks of usage that has found its life through the transformation made by nature itself.

For me this concept has become a living landscape filled with compositions, colours and contrasts that deserves being captured

before being lost forever. The motive must have been marked with time, and are often a combination of rust scratches and marks.

All my pictures are compositions of a physical reality which exists or once did without being constructed.
